A friend let me know about a U Pick It farm in Palmer, about an hour away from where we live. We went out there a few times to pick produce, but our main driving force to go out there was for raspberries. I love raspberries! The only bad thing about this farm is that they wont let kids under 10 pick produce and they could NOT go in the raspberry patch. Luckily we were able to find huge raspberries on the outer edge of the patch. Ila picked rocks and flowers and was a trooper as it poured down rain on us. She stuck it out for a long time, and we came home with more raspberries than I knew what to do with.
We had a pony come for company too. She was a trooper as well, didn't complain once about the rain, or staying in my coat pocket for the majority of the time we were there.
Ila liked riding in the wagon as well. We went with our friend Carrie, and she pulled Ila all around the farm while we looked for produce to pick. We came home with raspberries, zucchini, and cauliflower. Everything tasted delicious. I wish we could have our own garden, but since we can't this is an excellent replacement.
