Jon's new favorite thing to do is to go fishing. We all tried to catch a King Salmon. They are typically 50 to 100 pounds. We didn't have any luck with the kings this year, but hopefully next year we will catch one. Jon went on a Halibut Charter in July and brought home two 30 pound halibuts. He really enjoyed it. This year he caught one red salmon and one silver salmon. Not too bad for a newby. He's alreay planning on going much more next summer and hopes to fill our deep freezer.
This is Jon's first Silver Samon that he caught. Good job honey!

Wow, John would be totally jealous! He wants to go fishing in Alaska SO bad! That's really impressive. And I love the stories and pictures of the moose's(or is it meese? =)
