If you ever drive through Bishop, California you absolutely have to stop at Schat's Bakkery. It is so delicious. We dropped in for sandwiches for lunch and as we were driving away I wanted to go back to get another sandwich. We didn't though. Too bad.
Dessert was on the menu as well. How can you resist something that looks so good! On a funny note...as I was taking pictures of the tempting treats Jon told me that I wasn't supposed to take pictures. I looked at him as if he were crazy, not wanting to believe him, but not wanting to get in trouble either. He said he saw a sign on the door that said "no taking pictures." So I put my camera away and on the way out of the bakkery I checked the door and sure enough I was breaking the rules. Ooops!

That is the BEST place ever! We go there every time we are in Bishop. SO glad someone else knows the spot... YUM!!!
