Haha, you thought I had big news didn't you! Wrong! After feeding the girafe's Ila was tired and wanted to be inside my coat. Did you know that coats can make great front packs if your coat and child are the right size?

This girafe really did have big news. She is VERY pregnant, as in shoud have this kid any day now. Wouldn't that have been exciting to see a baby girafe born? I think it would have been cool, a little messy, but a once in a lifetime experience. It was fun to watch the baby girafe move inside the mommy. Her belly was bulging and would shift and move, just like any other full term baby does.

Getting the "goodness" as the animal trainer called it. This was our souvineer from the girafe, it's spit! He wrapped his tonge around a biscuit that we got to feed him. I held onto it for a few seconds so he had to try harder to get it from us.

Ila was a little leary at first. But that wore off quickly. We had six biscuits to feed the girafes and by the last biscuit she wasn't afraid anymore and pet his head before it was too tall to reach.

You've got one lucky little girl to have such fun parents!
I love giraffes!! Did you know they pick their noses with their tongues? Gross! But they are super cool.
Thanks for the daily updates! I love it! It makes me feel like you're just on vacation instead of...
