This year we stayed home for Christmas, it was just the three of us. I worried we would feel lonely since we wouldn't have any of our family with us. I wanted to make Christmas special so we planned a nice dinner and truly enjoyed being with each other.
Ariel has become a part of our family, she is Ila's very best friend.
I wanted to have a fancy dinner table, but I didn't plan in advance so this is all we could do on Christmas Eve since I didn't want to go to the store. Not too bad for making do. I love the Christmas Season. It's so fun to see Ila's eyes light up, she can feel the magic that Christmas brings. I feel privileged to be able to celebrate the birth of Christ. His spirit seems so much more alive in December. I wish everyone would allow Him to be in their hearts all year long. All I want in this life is to be happy. I don't aspire for a nice house or a fancy car, I want my family to be happy to live in the moment and have no regrets. I want us to remember all the memories we make spending time together. I want the people I care about to know that I love them. It makes me happy to see others around me happy. What kind of world would this be if more people gave freely of their time, talents, and most importantly love. After all, ...all you need is Love.

Wow, you've been the "post" queen! I still have some major updating to do! What a fun holiday season you've had. Your family is beautiful, and Ila seems like such a doll. She is absolutely beautiful, and you can tell that you are doing an amazing job as her mother.
