Ila's Bedroom

I've been wanting to post what Ila's bedroom looked like for a while, so I finally went in there and took pictures of it. I love Ila's room. We painted it before we moved in to match her bedding set. I made her quilt(that still isn't done), bumper, dust ruffle, curtains, and put together her "Watch me as I Grow" board and the flower arrangement. I've never done most of those things so I am very proud to have an adorable room for my little girl.

One of my moms, whom I love, is an artist and she made this picture for Ila. It has all of her stuffed animals in it, it makes me smile to see such a happy and fun piece of art in Ila's room.

My mom also drew this picture of Ila. She was 3 months old. I am so grateful to have many moms who make things for my family. I love the things they make for us.

Ila has a big girl bed now. She loves having the independance of being able to get out of bed by herself. She stays in bed until she wakes up in the morning so it's been nice to be able to put her to bed and have her stay in bed. Her quilt is just the top, so I still need to finish it but you can see what it will look like when it gets done.

Such a cute room!!! But would I expect anything less from Mrs. Creative and the woman that taught me how to sew (I'm trying at least!).

Xayla has been asking about playing with Ila a lot lately. We will have to get together.

Cute!!! Sad as it is, we rarely make it to Vegas so I've never seen her room, its so cute. And the quilt you have half made is really cute...oh if only I liked to sew more. :)
