It's crazy to realize I have a preschooler! Where did all the time go? Ila loves going to preschool, she looks forward to it every day. We went to her preschool open house and she told me confidently to drop her off and come back later. Umm...no. I wanted to meet her teachers and see her classroom just as much as she did. Ila brought Star Song for the preschool open house so she could see too. Star Song approved.
The night before Ila's first day of preschool we had a back to school feast. I asked Ila what she wanted for her feast, and she chose pancakes and edemame. Pancakes are her favorite food. I was trying to convince her to go with an oriental theme, which is where soy beans came in. We also had pineapple juice to finish off our meal. We ate by candle light to make it extra special.
In our family on special occasions we get to eat on our special red plate. Ila was pretty excited to be able to use the red plate.
Preschool here we come! She is so excited to learn and play.

She's so adorable and you are such a great mom! I love the idea of the feast before the start of school.
My oldest went to Kindergarten this year- and I can hardly believe it- time goes by way too quickly! Yet its so fun to watch them learn and grow :)
