We have a pet moose named Pete. He is 2 yrs old. He is the best kind of pet. He never leaves a mess in the house or back yard (because he isn't allowed to be in them) and I don't have to buy him food. He eats grass, shrubs, and tree leaves close to our home on a regular basis. The other night he brought a friend and her baby to our back yard to sample the vegetation. To native Alaskan's this isn't a big deal. We however were very excited that Pete felt comfortable enough with us to bring his friends home. And we got to watch a baby moose up close, from the comfort of our couch. Jon got pictures, but I haven't uploaded them yet so maybe next time. I hope Pete brings his friends home again soon.

I'm so excited to read about your Alaskan adventure! I'm glad you have some down time. I could not imagine running an in home daycare. You are an amazing woman! I'm really sad we did not get to hang out again. It's been really busy around here. I hope you come and visit Vegas sometime. You and your family will always have a place to stay!
