Okay so Jon and I have started P90X. It's a workout program for 90 days, and we work out for 60 to 90 min a day. We are only on day 3, but I am so tired and sore already! Jon is trying to get into better shape so he can be ready to retrain into SERE. (I'll have to explain what that is later.) I want to look healthy, and not a few months pregnant because I AM NOT PREGNANT! I shouldn't look like I am. We took before pictures, I wont scare you with them, mine are awful! I've always known that I have extra pounds but seeing a picture without sweatpants to cover up stuff was to say the least disheartening. If I wasn't worried about people seeing this photo I would put it on my fridge to stop me from snacking on sweets, but again I don't want to let anyone see me and all my glorious stretch marks, (thanks Ila.) I also just want to feel better and to have more energy, being able to drop a few sizes would be nice too. My overall goal is to remove 30 pounds. Not lose because I don't want to find this weight ever again, unless I actually do become pregnant. 50 pounds would be better but I am going to reach my first goal and then re-evaluate my overall health and see if i am happy where I am or if I need to work some more. So the whole reason for me telling you all of this is so you can check up on me and see if I am sticking to my workouts and eating plan. So far we have worked out all 2 days. Yeah! I'll keep you posted on my progress, and feel free to pester me about P90X if I don't post about it in another week or 2. Wish me luck, and a sore body :)

They aren't stetch marks! They're trophies! Battle scars from a glorious time in history! They were created out of love for the greatest treasure you have.
I know how you feel. I'm always so afraid of the dreaded "are you pregnant" question (unless I'm pregnant of course--which I also AM NOT.) I wish you luck with your workout program. That sounds AWESOME!!! I was following a workout/eating lifestyle program called Body for Life and it was amazing. Just be forewarned, if your program includes weight lifting, make sure not to up your weights too soon. I was so energized and determined to look and feel good and finally when I was seeing results and had the energy that I never really truly thought (but hoped of course) would come, my body gave out on me. I think it was a combination of not proper form and increasing weight too soon. 5 months later, chiropractors, accupuncture, massage therapists, MD (which that one was useless), I'm finally feeling like I'll be back to normal again and that I hadn't screwed up my body for life.=) Whoa, that was a long story just to get the point across to just be patient with results (which will come) and be careful with weights and overdoing it. You both will do GREAT!!!
HOw is this going? I've seen this on TV and wanted to buy it myself?
