Temple Square

I couldn't resist making a stop to see the lights at Temple Square. We got there a little after 5 but they lights weren't on yet. We had to wait until 5:30 for the lights to turn on. It was cool though because we got to see what a different view it is with Christmas lights every where. Temple Square also holds a special place in my heart, especially at Christmas time. Jon proposed to me here, right on the same spot that we had someone take a family picture for us. He proposed on Dec 26th 5 yrs ago. It is so crazy to think that it has really been that long. So much has happened in our lives together.

Since we brought a 2 yr old with us we didn't stay long. I couldn't risk Ila getting sick with a wedding to go to in a few days. She liked seeing the lights and walking around a litte. We walked up to the building with the Christus Statue in it and Ila told Jesus hi and waved and blew him kisses. It was really cute.
