Last year sometime Jon came up with the idea of us being Mario, Luigi, and Ila was going to be The Bomb. We had planned on this for a while when his primary class told him that Ila should be Princess Peach. We thought Ila would love being a princess so we went with it. I had so much fun sewing our costumes and finding Ila's wig and accessories. We had so many kids come up and say hi to Mario and all the moms oohh and aahhed at our Princess Peach. On of the kids did tell me though that "Luigi isn't a GIRL!!" As if I wasn't aware of this already.
Kasen and Ila are buddies. I thought it was too cute that Ila was a princess and Kasen a frog. I told Ila to kiss him to see if he turned into a prince. She tried, and the kiss didn't turn Kasen into a prince, but Ila still had fun with Kasen The Frog.
